About Catherine
As Executive Vice President, Government Affairs, Catherine Bohigian leads the formulation of Charter Communications’ public policy positions. Since joining the Company in 2013, she has set its legislative and regulatory strategies in Washington, D.C., as well as the 41 states and thousands of local communities it serves.
Most recently, Catherine and her team have worked closely with local, state and federal officials across the country to help effectively expand affordable internet and mobile services to reach and assist communities in need.
Catherine’s Early Career
Before coming to Charter, Catherine served as Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for Cablevision Systems Corporation (now Altice USA) from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, she held multiple roles with the Federal Communications Commission, including Chief of the Office of Strategic Planning and Senior Advisor to the Chairman. She began her career as an attorney at Wiley Rein, where she represented telecommunications clients.

Catherine has been honored repeatedly with inclusion on Washingtonian’s annual list of The 500 Most Influential People Shaping Policy and The Cablefax 100, which honors the most influential executives in the media, cable and broadband industry. A committed mentor and advocate for women in the telecommunications industry, Catherine serves as Treasurer on The WICT Network’s Board of Directors.
She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
