Charter Communications Announces Spectrum Digital Education Grant Recipients as Part of $5 Million Commitment

Stamford, CT – Charter Communications, Inc. today announced the winners of its 2019 Spectrum Digital Education Grants, a philanthropic initiative designed to support nonprofit organizations that work with the local community to improve their lives through digital education.

The grants are part of a $5 million commitment to provide digital education in Charter communities through financial grants, PSAs, and webinars to local nonprofit organizations. Charter received more than 200 eligible grant applications and awarded Digital Education grants to 31 nonprofit organizations.

“Charter is proud to award a third year of funding to some incredibly worthwhile organizations focused on digital literacy,” said Rahman Khan, Vice President of Community Impact for Charter Communications. “The selected organizations will help further our mission to provide communities with the necessary tools to grow and prosper in the digital age.”
